2014.36 celebration

Now, as a Scot, I don’t often like to blow my own trumpet.  But yes, I did make that cake.  Credit obviously has to go to those many clever Pinterest people who’ve done it before.

However, we obviously weren’t celebrating the cake, but our vibrant, wise, fun-enhancing friend Petunia.  There is something quite lovely about celebrating a friend, just because they were born.  Celebration is something that our neighbours here do well, and it’s also an InnerCHANGE value.  Living amongst the wearing strains of poverty, it’s important to remember and enjoy the gifts and goodness around.
