2014.16 Easter

This week we celebrated Passover with some friends and neighbours.  Above is our version of the traditional Jewish Seder plate, with elements representing different aspects of the story of the Israelites being freed from slavery in Egypt.  It was great to reflect on this together in preparation for Easter.  We also helped the kids prepare a drama about the 10 Plagues…

And on Saturday we went to explore a local tourist attraction, the Tswaing Meteor Crater.  P was delighted to ‘spend time with the Creator at the Crater’.  It was such a different and refreshing environment to be in, but only 10 minutes drive from our house!
